Title: Social Prescribing Link Worker – Fixed term ending 31st March 2024
Salary: Within the range £22,549 – £31,534 + holiday entitlements & benefits
Hours: 37.5 per week on flexible rota

This role helps people to work on their wider health and well-being, specifically addressing health access and outcomes and wider determinants of their health, such as debt, poor housing and physical inactivity, as well as other lifestyle issues and low-level mental health concerns by increasing people’s active involvement with their local communities.
This approach particularly helps people with long term conditions (including support for mental health), people who are lonely or isolated, or who have complex social needs which affect their well-being.
You must be a good listener, have time for people and be committed to supporting local communities to care for each other. You should have experience of working positively with people facing complex social and emotional challenges. You will have great interpersonal skills in supporting people, community groups and local organisations.

Social Prescribing Link Worker – person specification
Lifeguards – £9.50 per hour (NMW)
Due to increase demand, we are looking to enhance our Lifeguard team by recruiting exceptional individuals to provide a safe environment and deliver excellent customer service experience that exceeds expectations.
You need to be enthusiastic, punctual and reliable, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
We are looking to offer permanent contracts with a variety of hours to suit the right applicant.
Duties will include the safe supervision of the swimming pool and associated areas, cleaning, completing appropriate facility checks and to provide effective customer care.
Applicants will be required to hold or have experience of the following:
RLSS NPLQ Qualification.
Understanding of Pool Safety.
Good standard of customer care.
Handling enquiries and complaints.
Ability to work as part of a team.
We will accept applications from people without a lifeguard qualification if they possess all the right attributes for the post and we will put them through the training free of charge with guaranteed contracted hours on successful completion (subject to T & C’s).
