We are looking for flexible Swimming Teachers to join our Team.
Your primary role will be to plan and deliver Swimming Lessons covering a range of classes from beginner through to advanced ability. To engage with customers and review the highest quality, themed, fun and safe Swim England lessons with excellent standards of customer service giving every child the opportunity to learn to swim.
In addition, to provide support to the Swimming Lesson Development Officer with the operation of our Swimming Lessons Programme, ensuring the Health & Safety of participants at all times.
This role covers weekday evening and Saturday hours.
Qualifications required:
Swim England Level 2 qualification or equivalent is essential
National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award for Swim Teachers and Coaches (NRASTaC) is desirable but must be obtained if successful
Knowledge of current safety requirements for the management of Swimming Lessons is essential in addition to:
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively either as an individual or part of a team
- Being customer service focused, demonstrate a determined and committed approach to quality with the ability to build a rapport quickly over the telephone and deal with daily enquiries and issues as they arise
- Customer engagement, attending training and team meetings to share best practice and learn from each other.
- You must be passionate about swimming and willing to go the extra mile to inspire your pupils to reach their goals?
- Knowledge of current swim teaching practices and swim lesson programming
- Good IT Skills essential
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Any other duties as may be deemed appropriate

Aqua Aerobics Instructors
We are looking to add additional Aqua Aerobics Classes to our Group Exercise programme:
Applicants will be required to hold a nationally recognised Aqua Aerobics Teaching qualification with experience of delivering classes in both Shallow and Deep water.
